What happens if my player gets injured?

Inactive - If a player is officially inactive, the pick will be graded as a void, and the overall outcome of the Pick’em entry is determined by the number of players remaining.

Rescue - If a player plays in the first half of the game but does not return in the second half for any reason (injury, ejection, rest, etc.), your entry may be refunded (aka "Rescued"), and you'll be given a special that'll appear in your lobby the next day. This only applies if you chose higher on the player's selection and only applies to full game projections — partial game projections (1Q, 2Q, 1H, 2H, etc.) are not eligible for rescue.

For NBA, WNBA, NFL, and CFB (Top 25): a player must exit before the second half begins to be eligible for rescue.

For MLB hitters: a player must exit the game before completing their 3rd plate appearance to be eligible for rescue. Pitchers are not rescue eligible under any circumstances.

Note: A 2H pick where the player is injured in the first half and never returns for the second half — the pick will be voided, not graded on their stats.

Injury - If your player is not eligible for rescue (e.g., they played into the second half in NBA/WNBA/NFL/CFB, or completed 3 or more plate appearances in MLB), they will be graded on their final stats.

Rescue — Keep Your Million picks are NOT eligible for Rescue. If a player leaves early due to injury, the pick still settles normally — it is not voided and does not qualify for a Rescue refund.

Injury — If a player is injured but played, the pick settles based on their final stats. Whatever amount you allocated to the winning side (Higher or Lower) carries forward to the next question.

Example: if you split your pot $600,000 Higher / $400,000 Lower and the stat settles on the Lower side, only the $400,000 carries forward to the next question.

Inactive — If a player is officially inactive and does not play, the pick will be voided. Your pot will be carried over to the next question.

Inactive - If you select a player who is then marked as inactive after they are drafted but before the contest begins, we will automatically swap in the next highest projected player at that position.

Swap eligible, aka “Inactive” statuses include: Doubtful, Out, Traded, Retired, Suspended. If a player already had this designation prior to being selected, they will not be swap eligible.

Injury - If a player you drafted plays and is active in the game, they will not be swap eligible and will count towards your team total as normal.

Injury - The players selected for an individual entry will remain the same for the entire season and score at the end of each scoring week, regardless of injury status.
