If an athlete starts the race, their picks will grade normally. If they don't qualify for the race - or don't start the race for any reason - their picks will void.
For events utilizing the Triple Crown format, 'Finishing Position' is offered as the finishing position in the overall Triple Crown event, not in any of the individual races themselves.
Holeshot - Defined and graded as the first rider to reach the first turn (apex) after the starting gate drops.
Fastest Qualifier - Awarded to the racer with the fastest overall time across all qualifying runs.
