Bonus Funds, Bonus Cash, & Bonus Entries

Anything related to bonus funds, cash, and how to find & use bonus entries

Understanding Bonus Cash & Play-Through Requirements

Unless otherwise specified in the promotion advertisement, a promotion has a playthrough (turnover) requirement of 1x the deposit plus the promotion bonus amount.

For example, if you deposit $10 and receive a $10 Deposit Bonus, you must play through all $20 in Underdog contests before being able to withdraw any portion of awarded Bonus funds.

Promotions like profit boosts, discounts, and special projections provide enhanced payouts, with the additional amount credited as bonus cash. For example, if a standard payout is 2x, but a promotion increases it to 5x, the extra 3x is paid out as bonus cash.

Please visit the Promotions Rules Page under the 'Multiplier Boosts/Specials' section for more insights. For example, if a 50% profit boost is applied, the bonus cash is calculated as: (winnings - entry fee) x boost percentage. This ensures transparency in how enhanced payouts are allocated.

Withdrawable cash refers to the portion of winnings that can be immediately withdrawn from your account, while bonus cash comprises funds credited due to promotions, which require play-through before withdrawal eligibility.

For entries funded with playthrough cash (such as from a deposit match), only winning entries with a multiplier of 1.2x or higher will clear the stake from your playthrough requirement. For winning entries below 1.2x, up to the initial stake is returned as playthrough rather than withdrawable cash — only the profit above the stake is withdrawable.

For entries funded with playthrough cash, if you choose to cash out, the cash-out amount up to the original entry fee will be returned as playthrough. Any amount above the entry fee will be paid as withdrawable cash. Example:

  • Entry fee = $100 (playthrough cash)

  • Cash out = $150

  • Payout = $100 playthrough / $50 withdrawable cash

Bonus Funds Expiration

Bonus funds issued through promotions (such as deposit matches, referral rewards, specials/boosts, and airdrops) come with a 14-day usage window. Once that period passes, any unused bonus funds automatically expire and are removed from the account. To clarify, the 14-day usage period starts from the moment the bonus funds or airdrop are credited to the customer's account.

Where Can I Find and Redeem Bonus Entries in the Underdog Sports Mobile App?

Underdog Sports offers various bonus entries that users can find and redeem within the mobile app. Bonus entries may come from new customer promotions, deposit bonuses, referral rewards, or other special offers. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you locate and use your bonus entries.

Finding Your Bonus Entries

Bonus entries can be found in several places in the Underdog Sports app, depending on the type of bonus:

1. Promos Tab

  • Open the app and navigate to the Promos tab (the money bag icon) on the bottom of the app.

  • In this section, you will see a list of your available promotional bonus entries, such as "10 x $10 bonus entries" or other promotions.

2. Picks Tab (Promos Carousel)

  • Go to the Home tab bottom left of the app).

  • Once you select your projections and arrive at the entry slip screen, look for the "Promos Available" message at the bottom. Bonus entries from promotions, sign-ups, or deposits (e.g., "3 x $25 entries") can be found here.

3. Rewards Section (During Entry Creation)

  • While creating an entry, swipe the entry screen to expand it fully.

  • Tap on the token on the entry review screen, where you can find eligible bonus entries ready to apply.

4. Home Screen Rotating Promos

  • On the home screen, swipe past the rotating promotions (e.g., seasonal or time-limited offers) to locate bonus entries near the promotional banners.

Important Notes:

  • Bonus entries are exclusive to the mobile app and cannot be redeemed via the web browser.

  • Bonus entries are redeemable for Prediction Singles, Prediction Combos, Prediction Parlays, Pick'em, or Champions entries; Draft-specific bonus entries (earned through a challenge or promotion) can be used for Draft contests (e.g., the "Draft 4, Get 1" challenge).

  • Some bonuses may have expiry dates, such as 14 days from issuance. Check the app for specific details.

  • Certain promotions, like deposit bonuses, may require eligibility criteria (e.g., placing a qualifying $5+ Pick’em entry).

If you experience any difficulties finding or redeeming your entries, ensure your app is updated to the latest version or contact Underdog Sports support for assistance.

Withdrawable vs Bonus Funds

When submitting a pick'em entry, bonus funds must be selected if you want to use them. Once the yellow Bonus Funds button is selected, type the dollar amount you want to use in the entry fee field that appears at the bottom of the screen. The submit button will stay greyed out until a valid amount is entered.

  • If bonus funds are selected: They will be applied before any withdrawable funds.

  • If bonus funds are not selected: Only withdrawable funds will be used, and the bonus balance will remain available for future entries.

  • For draft contests, bonus funds do not need to be selected as they are used before withdrawable funds

  • For bonus funds to be used, it must be a whole number amount and a minimum $1 entry.

Important Notes About Bonus Funds

  1. Playthrough Requirement: Bonus funds must be played through before they become eligible for withdrawal.

  2. Withdrawable Winnings: If bonus funds are used and your entry wins, only the profit is returned as withdrawable cash. The bonus funds used as the entry fee are not returned.

  3. How to Use Bonus Funds: Simply tap the promos available at the bottom of your entry form, then adjust how much you'd like to use with the arrows next to your bonus fund total.

  4. Unable to use Promo with bonus funds: When creating an entry that contains a token/promo, bonus funds are unable to be used as the source of funds for the entry fee.

  5. Unable to combine bonus funds with withdrawable funds. When creating an entry, bonus funds or withdrawable funds will need to be selected - it is impossible to combine both sources to create an entry. However, these sources can be used together when joining a draft contest. Example: If the draft entry fee is $3, and you have $1 in bonus funds and $2 in withdrawable funds, these can be combined to cover the draft entry fee.

Will I get withdrawable cash if my entry wins using bonus funds?

Yes — if your entry wins, the profit is paid out as withdrawable cash. However, the bonus funds used as the entry fee are not returned. This works the same way as a Bonus Entry.

No Stakeback Bonus

How Bonus Funds & Bonus Entries Work

When you use bonus funds or a bonus entry, your payout covers your winnings — not your original stake back. That applies across Fantasy, Combos, and Predictions.

In your entry slip
As soon as you switch an entry to bonus (funds or entry), the multiplier and payout update right away to reflect that your stake isn't included. That's the number you'll actually get paid if the entry hits, and it stays consistent through confirmation and in Track — no surprise change at settlement.
