Settlement Issues & Disputes

Live scores and stats shown in the app during a Prediction entry are sourced from a third-party provider and are unofficial. All entries settle based on the official results from the exchange — not the in-app display. See How Markets Are Settled for more details.

How settlement works

Markets are settled exactly as outlined in each exchange's official rules and the specific market description. The resolution source, timing, and criteria are all defined in advance. Outcomes are determined strictly according to those terms.

Settlement is controlled by the exchange a market is offered through — UDX for UDX markets, Kalshi's Outcome Review Committee for Kalshi markets, and Crypto.com | Nadex for Nadex markets. Underdog Predict reflects the settlement from the exchange and does not independently re-settle or reverse market outcomes.

What to do if you think a settlement is wrong

Contact our support team with your entry details and a description of what you believe went wrong. We'll review the market settlement against the official rules and follow up.

Please note: We are not able to confirm or deny a settlement error until we've reviewed the details. Do not expect an immediate resolution — settlement reviews involve coordination with the exchange.

How corrections work

If an amendment to a settlement is confirmed by the exchange, affected customers receive an account credit reflecting the correction. We do not re-settle the original trade or reverse the transaction. Any corrections come directly from the exchange's amendment process.

What to expect

  • We cannot promise a specific timeline for settlement reviews.

  • We cannot guarantee a correction will be issued — that determination is made by the exchange.

  • If a correction is confirmed, it will be applied to your account without requiring further action from you.

Stat corrections

Stat-correction handling depends on the exchange a market is offered through, and is defined in that exchange's rules:

  • UDX: stat corrections are handled per UDX's rules — see the UDX Rulebook and UDX Notices.

  • Kalshi: stat corrections made during a game are honored, but per the Kalshi Rulebook, post-game stat corrections that occur 24 or more hours after the game concludes are not recognized and will not affect settlement.

  • Nadex: stat-correction handling is governed by Crypto.com | Nadex's rules.

In all cases, this is a contractual rule built into how each market is defined — it is not something Underdog can override. If an official stat correction is issued outside the window recognized by the applicable exchange, your entry remains settled as originally determined, even if the corrected stat would have changed the outcome.
