Prediction Picks (Football)

Unless a rule includes a provider-specific exception below, it applies to all three providers (UDX, Kalshi, Crypto/Nadex). These rules apply to both the NFL and College Football (CFB).

Does overtime count?

Yes. Overtime counts for all markets.

What happens if a game ends in a tie?

If a game ends in a tie after all regulation and overtime periods, the market resolves to $0.50 for each team.

What happens if a game is postponed?

  • Begins within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start time: the market remains open and resolves based on the official final result.

  • Not started within 48 hours: the market resolves at the last fair market price.

EXCEPTION: Nadex (Predictions powered by UDM Services, LLC): If an Industry Event is postponed, canceled, or otherwise not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, it is treated as Event Cancelled.

What happens if a game is suspended or abandoned after kickoff?

  • Suspended before 55 minutes of play, not scheduled to resume/complete: all markets resolve to last fair price, except markets for an already-concluded period (e.g., a completed first half), which settle on actual results from that period.

  • Suspended after 55 minutes but before end of regulation, not resumed/completed within specified time frames:

    • Markets for a definitively concluded period settle on actual results from that period.

    • All other markets resolve to last fair price — unless the governing league declares a winner/final result afterward, in which case unsettled markets resolve on that actual result.

EXCEPTION: Nadex (Predictions powered by UDM Services, LLC): If an Industry Event is postponed, canceled, or otherwise not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, it is treated as Event Cancelled.

What happens if a game is shortened but deemed official?

If a game is shortened, called, or ended early (e.g., due to weather or safety conditions) and the league declares it official with a winner, OR at least 55 minutes of gameplay have been completed, the full-game market resolves based on the official result. Markets for a sub-game segment (e.g., a quarter or half) that was completed before the game was called settle on the score at the end of that segment; segments not completed resolve at the last fair market price.

What happens if there is a venue change?

  • Home/away designation unchanged AND played within 48 hours of the originally scheduled date: market remains open, resolves on official final result.

  • Home/away reversed OR moved outside the same scheduling week: market resolves at last fair market price.

EXCEPTION: Nadex (Predictions powered by UDM Services, LLC): Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all contracts will remain open if an event's venue changes.

What happens if my market is an Event Cancelled? (Nadex)

Your pick is paid out based on its recent market price, and your trading fees are refunded. (The payout uses the average price over the week before cancellation.)
