How does a market settle if a game is postponed, cancelled, or not completed?
The market resolves to the last fair price — the market's most recent trading price at the time of the disruption.
EXCEPTION: Nadex (Predictions powered by UDM Services, LLC): If a game is postponed, cancelled, or otherwise not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start with no winner decided, it is treated as Event Cancelled (see below).
What happens if a game is delayed?
Delayed two weeks or less: markets remain open.
Delayed more than two weeks: markets resolve to the last fair price.
EXCEPTION: Nadex (Predictions powered by UDM Services, LLC): No separate delay window. If the game is not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, it is treated as Event Cancelled (see below).
Are trading fees refunded if a market is cancelled?
No. Exchange fees are not refunded on Event Cancelled outcomes.
EXCEPTION: Nadex (Predictions powered by UDM Services, LLC): Yes. Trading fees are refunded on Event Cancelled outcomes for Nadex-powered accounts.
What happens if my market is an Event Cancelled? (Nadex)
Your pick is paid out based on its recent market price, and your trading fees are refunded. (The payout uses the average price over the week before cancellation.)
