Experienced Player - Pick'em Classic

In Tennessee, a player classified as "Experienced" will be labeled as a "Highly Experienced" player.

An "Experienced" player has played in more than five hundred (500) contests or has won more than five (5) contests with combined prizes won totaling $2,500 or more. This is denoted with the black shield seen below.

A "Highly Experienced" player has played in more than one thousand (1,000) contests or has won more than three (3) contests with prizes of at least $1,000 each. This is denoted with the red shield seen below.

Draft Badges are a separate set of experience indicators shown alongside a player's username in Draft contexts. Unlike the Experienced and Highly Experienced badges, which reflect a player's overall contest history across Underdog, Draft Badges reflect a player's participation in Draft contests specifically. Draft Badges do not appear on Pick'em surfaces, where the Experienced and Highly Experienced badges continue to apply. A player earns a Draft Badge based on the total number of Draft contests they have entered, counted across all types of Draft contests. The six tiers and their thresholds are:

  • Bronze: 2,000 or more Draft contests entered

  • Silver: 5,000 or more Draft contests entered

  • Gold: 10,000 or more Draft contests entered

  • Emerald: 20,000 or more Draft contests entered

  • Purple: 50,000 or more Draft contests entered

  • Diamond: 100,000 or more Draft contests entered

A player is shown the highest Draft Badge for which they qualify. Players who have not yet entered 2,000 Draft contests do not display a Draft Badge in Draft contexts; if they otherwise qualify as Experienced or Highly Experienced, those badges will be shown in their place. Pick'em surfaces are unaffected by Draft Badges and continue to display the Experienced or Highly Experienced badge where applicable. Draft Badges are awarded automatically based on contest entry history and do not affect a player's eligibility for any contest, including 'beginner' contests. Beginner-contest eligibility is governed solely by the rules described in the 'Experienced' section above.
